Saltwater
Correct Calcium Chloride meets or exceeds the purity of competing brands designated for
saltwater aquarium use.
Calcium is the first
most essential trace element.
Calcium Chloride supplement/additive is
the #1 trace element in your saltwater coral reef aquarium. Calcium Chloride is stronger then Calcium
Hydroxide A.K.A. Kalkwasser. Saltwater Correct product provides bio available calcium for lush
growth of purple, pink, red and green calcareous algae's, snails, hard tube worms,
invertebrates and clams. Corals will open more and stay attached to their
skeletons better, with regular use. Phosphate & nitrate free! Contains no glauconitic, EDTA, or other
organics to raise DOC levels, as many competing products do. Saltwater
Correct Aquarium Calcium Chloride product alone can
provide all the calcium your saltwater
coral reef will need. Strontium, Iodide, Alkalinity
and Magnesium supplements is also necessary.
If and when you experience a hard time at
maintaining your calcium and alkalinity levels, test your
magnesium level to see if it's between 1250 ppm and 1350 ppm, which are natural seawater
levels. A low magnesium level at or less then 800 ppm will cause your calcium
and alkalinity
levels to become unstable and stress your entire livestock in your aquarium.
Alkalinity /
Sodium Bicarbonate
Saltwater Correct Alkalinity dKH buffer is a supplement that’s designed to
be used as part of a 2 or 3 part dKH buffering system or in conjunction when
dosing calcium, or to use alone to raise your alkalinity values for systems
that have calcium values too high or alkalinity values too low. Monitoring
and maintaining your alkalinity values is part of helping to stabilize your
water chemistry values, and you will see better coralline algae growth,
coral growth and invert growth. Directions for dry form: Start out by adding 1 teaspoon
per 50 gallons of tank water. Pre-dissolve in filtered water and add slowly
into sump or if no sump, use half dose at a time and pour in front of a
strong power head. Drip method is best. Directions are just a guide line.
Wait 1 hour and retest. Adjust dosage up or down. Add daily to reach your
desired alkalinity values, then as part of a daily or weekly regimen to
maintain your alkalinity values. Ideal alkalinity values are 9 to 12 dKH or
3 to 5 meg/L. If you are having difficulty maintaining your alkalinity,
check your borate, magnesium, pH and calcium values and adjust to their
proper values in order to maintain a well balanced saltwater aquarium
system.
When using any Alkalinity Supplement (Sodium
Bicarbonate) alone, monitor your ph values, if you see your pH values dropping,
dose pH-UP Supplement (Sodium Carbonate) along with your dosing of
Alkalinity Supplement (Sodium Bicarbonate).
Magnesium Sulfate
Saltwater Correct
Liquid Magnesium Sulfate Supplement is salt
that is designed to restore low levels of magnesium with minimal impact to
the ionic ratios found in natural seawater. It’s highly recommended to use
Saltwater Correct Magnesium Chloride in conjunction with Saltwater Correct
Magnesium Sulfate in order to get natural seawater ratio. Magnesium in
natural seawater values are between (1250 mg/L-1350 mg/L). Magnesium
helps to stabilize the correct combination of calcium, alkalinity and ph
values. Severely low values of magnesium (900 mg/L or below) can cause low
pH values and an inability to maintain proper alkalinity and calcium values.
If magnesium becomes too low, coral growth will stop and followed by a
decline in coral health. Carbonates and calcium are essential for all growth
of corals, coralline algae, clams and invertebrates. Maintaining the correct
magnesium values is very important and is indirectly responsible for coral
and coralline algae growth by making it possible to maintain correct
calcium, alkalinity and pH values. Magnesium can be depleted by the use of
excessive Kalkwasser or by going beyond natural calcium, alkalinity and pH
values.
Contents: Magnesium Sulfate, As impurities are Major and Minor trace elements
that is found in natural seawater.

pH-UP /
Sodium Carbonate
Saltwater Correct pH-UP is a
supplement designed to be used as part of a 2 or 3 part dKH buffering system
or to use alone to raise your pH values. Monitoring and maintaining your pH
values is part of helping too stabilize your water chemistry values, and you
will see better coralline algae growth, coral growth and invert growth.

Adjust dosage up or down. Add daily to reach your desired pH level, then as
part of a daily or weekly regimen to maintain your pH values. Ideal pH
values are 8.1 to 8.4. If you are have difficulty maintaining your pH
values, check your borate, magnesium, alkalinity and calcium values and
adjust to their proper values in order to maintain a well balanced saltwater
aquarium system. If all your above values are in order and you still have a
pH problem we recommend to use Calcium Hydroxide / Kalkwasser daily to
maintain your pH values.
