My Livestock Guarantee:

If you are a regular service customer and you have your aquarium maintained by me at least once every two weeks, I guarantee the health of any livestock I sell for a period of thirty (30) days from the day I acclimate it into your aquarium system. 

There are some and conditions that apply:

These conditional policies are simply based on sound aquarium maintenance. I supply all of my aquarium maintenance service customers with written instructions on the care of their aquarium system. Any one of my customer's can insure they are fully covered by my guarantees by simply following my maintenance instructions   between scheduled services.

Livestock Guarantee Policies:

Livestock replacement will only be given in the form of credit or replacement livestock. There are no cash refunds on livestock. Credits for livestock can only be applied toward replacement livestock, and not towards the labor or materials.

Livestock replacement under my guarantee policies is subject to the availability of the specimen. I do not guarantee that I will be able to obtain an exact replacement for a rare or hard to obtain specimen within any type of time frame. This is due to limitations on the availability of certain species and is a factor over which I have no control.

As a minimum, properly maintained aquariums should receive at least a 10% water change every two weeks. Please keep in mind that an aquarium that looks clean may actually be dirty. Dirt that accumulates in the sub-straight and the effects of bad water quality can't always be seen. Not all toxic conditions in an aquarium system can be tested for by using aquarium test methods. I will not replace livestock under my guarantee for any aquarium that I do not maintain at least once every two weeks.

Before I agree to replace any livestock:

I reserve the right to inspect the aquarium first, to determine why the livestock died or became ill. I will not replace livestock under any circumstances if the aquarium has been overfed or neglected in between scheduled maintenance visits.

You must follow my recommendations:

For stocking your tank. I will not replace livestock that die as a result of over stocking an aquarium system. I'm always available for telephone consultation when you're shopping for livestock. Please contact me before you buy.

I do not recommend adding livestock just before a maintenance visit:

I also recommend introducing new fish slowly to an aquarium and corals only a few at a time, with at least two weeks in between adding new specimens. Livestock that dies or becomes ill as a result of not following these recommendations will only be replaced on a case-by-case basis, subject to my review.

I will not replace any livestock that dies due to incompatibility:

With a specimen that you did not purchase from Get Tanked Aquariums, Your saltwater connection.

Livestock sold to you by another aquarium service or store:

Must be approved as being compatible with your aquarium by Get Tanked Aquariums, Your saltwater connection, or I may be unable to guarantee livestock that I sold you. If you are shopping for fish, it is your responsibility to know the species in your aquarium, and to inform the person selling you fish of what and how many fish you have in your aquarium. I will be happy to recommend specimens for your aquarium in advance of their purchase. If you see a specimen you like, please call me for a recommendation. Remember however that I quarantine my livestock for a full two weeks before delivery. Other businesses may not do so, and introducing a diseased fish into your aquarium may negatively affect your other livestock.

I will only replace livestock:

Sold by Get Tanked Aquariums if notified of the loss within thirty (30) days. I will not replace livestock if I'm notified after this thirty-day period. I'm sorry, but I can not make any exceptions to this policy.

If I sold you a weak or incompatible livestock, I'll be more than happy to replace the livestock if it dies or becomes ill within my guarantee period, provided I'm notified within my guarantee period. I want to be fair, but I also recognize that occasionally livestock dies, and it’s not my fault. 

My livestock guarantee is 2nd to none in the business.
