Invoices and Payment Procedures: 

Good Service Doesn't Cost...It Pays !

My bills are due upon receipt:

Accounts with a previous balance will not be serviced again until the prior balance is paid in full. I  recommend payment by Credit Card to avoid interruption of service.

With the exception of institution:

Accounts payable department who may receive payment terms, I may ask new clients to provide me with a signed credit card imprint to guarantee payment for my services. I accept Visa and Master Card. If a customer is late in paying their bills on a regular basis, I reserve the right to request a credit card imprint or a cash deposit from that customer, to guarantee payment for my services before I will continue servicing that customer's aquarium system.

I do not leave an bill at the time of service:

You will receive a bill within seven days after the date of service.

Partial payments made on outstanding bill add to my accounting costs:

If you believe any portion of your bill is wrong, please contact me before making payment. Do not deduct any charge (s) from your bill when making your payment.

If you pay by credit card:

your credit card account will be billed on the date of service, and a copy of the invoice marked "paid" and the charge slip will be mailed to you within seven days after the date of the aquarium service.

A $30.00 Fee will be charged for any check that is returned by your bank for any reason:

Accounts that have more than one check returned, will be serviced only after we obtain a credit card imprint to guarantee payment for future services.

Balances due which remain unpaid after thirty days:

will be subject to a late fee of twenty dollars ($25.00), and interest charges of 1-1/2% per month with a minimum monthly interest charge of $2.00.

Balances that remain unpaid after 60 days:

will be sent to a collection agency.

If an error is made on an invoice:

and the bill was paid by check or cash before the error is discovered, a credit will be issued on the following invoice. Errors made on invoices paid by credit card will be immediately credited to the credit card account that was used to pay the bill. Credit for labor will not be deducted from materials or livestock charges, and credit for materials and livestock will not be deducted from labor charges. This applies to all credits I issue for any reason.

What's fair is fair:

Aquarium work may often involve the use of many materials. On the rare occasion that I forget to record a product they I used on your aquarium, the charge for that item will appear on your next bill.

Materials that are sold as part of an aquarium service cannot be exempted from Pennsylvania sales tax:

Unless the customer is an Pennsylvania registered tax exempt organization. Tax exempt organizations must supply me with a copy of their  "Tax Exemption" form before I will exempt them from Pennsylvania Sales Tax.
